Back in High School, I worked as the student Business Manager for the Carver Theatre Company at the Carver Center for Arts & Technology in Towson, MD. At the time I proposed a website for our theatre company in order to serve as an online resource for students, faculty, parents, and the public. In time the website developed sections detailing the theatre primes (detailed concentration areas, “magnet program”), a sponsorship page, an archive of previous productions from 1993, and an online press kit for our upcoming productions. I really enjoyed creating this website as a senior project and as a start-from-scratch web design project. Unfortunately others I worked with didn’t care as much about any company innovation or initiative to grow with the online age, and I later found out that after I graduated the website was discontinued.
